Forschung und Lehre in den Bereichen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur/-film, Kunst- und Filmwissenschaft. Zudem tätig als Rezensentin für das Online-Portal www.kinderundjugendmedien.de und u.a. für die Zeitschriften Buch&Maus sowie MEDIENwissenschaft (Marburg: Schüren Verlag). Feryal Cubukcu got her M.A. on English Language Education and Ph. D. on Literary Theories. She has currently been working as a full professor at Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey.
